JP Morgan Asset Management – Chad Tredway has been appointed global head of real estate. In this new role, Tredway will oversee real estate operations across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. Tredway previously held senior roles in JP Morgan’s real estate banking and commercial lending teams, before leaving to found Trio Investment Group, a boutique real estate investment management firm. JP Morgan Asset Management brought Tredway back to JP Morgan in 2024, acquiring Trio Investment Group in the process. Tredway will continue to report to Jed Laskowitz, global head of private markets and customised solutions. David Chen, CIO and head of real estate APAC, and Michael Ramm, CIO and head of real estate Europe, will continue in their roles, now reporting to Tredway, who will continue to oversee the real estate Americas business.
Rothschild & Co – Matthew J Greenberger will join the firm as managing director and head of real estate, North America, based in New York. Greenberger will be responsible for leading Rothschild & Co’s real estate advisory activities across the region, strengthening the firm’s capabilities in an expanding sector. Greenberger brings over 25 years of investment banking experience, most recently at Citigroup for 21 of those years, where he served as managing director and global head of real estate, gaming and lodging.
IFM Investors – Romilly Madew, former Infrastructure Australia chief executive, has been appointed chair of the firm’s Australian infrastructure investor advisory committee. Madew is currently the CEO of Engineers Australia. When she headed Infrastructure Australian, Madew was responsible for overseeing the organisation’s role as an independent advisor on nationally significant infrastructure investment planning and project prioritisation. Prior to that, she served as the CEO of the Green Building Council of Australia for 13 years. Over the decades, Madew has sat on the boards and committees of numerous domestic and global organisations, including the Institution of Civil Engineers Enabling Better Infrastructure Steering Group UK.
Edge – Marian Herman will assume the role of CEO at Edge from 1 September, following a transition period beginning this month. Herman served as group CEO of HB Reavis. He will work closely with founder and current CEO, Coen van Oostrom over the coming months to ensure a smooth handover. Van Oostrom will transition into a new role as executive chair. In this capacity, Van Oostrom will remain engaged in the business, dedicating his time to client relationships, strategic deal-making and global networking. While stepping away from people management, he will continue to shape the company’s direction and values from the front.
New Forests – Anne Dillé has joined the firm as head of institutional fundraising, UK and Europe, in a newly created role to further strengthen the manager’s global institutional relationships and commitment to the growth of natural capital investing in the region. Most recently, Dillé was EMEA business development director at Nomura Asset Management, where she played a pivotal role in expanding its footprint among European asset owners. Based in Paris, Dille will report to Sarah Clawson, global head of investor relations at New Forests, and will work with regional and global teams. She will lead New Forests’ engagement with institutional investors across the UK and Europe, driving capital raising and client partnerships to support the firm’s growth across New Forests’ suite of nature-based investment strategies, including forestry, agriculture and natural capital.
Quinbrook – Ryan Gordon has been appointed managing director and head of APAC while Jonathn Borland is now senior director for Europe and Nordics. Gordon succeeds Rob Kerr, currently Quinbrook’s managing director, head of capital formation and investor engagement, APAC and who is leaving the firm at the end of July. Gordon spent 18 years with QIC, holding a range of senior roles. Earlier in his career, Gordon held positions at Goldman Sachs, Bank of New York and National Australia Bank. Borland joins Quinbrook after 6 years with DWS infrastructure, where he was a coverage specialist. Previously, he was an investment specialist at Aberdeen Standard Investments as well as a stint as performance analyst at Standard Life Investments. Before that, he was a fund administrator at HSBC global banking and markets.
Quantum Capital – D Dwight Scott, has been appointed executive vice chairman, effective 1 July. Scott will work closely with the Quantum leadership team and partners to help guide the firm’s overall strategic direction and oversee investments across its private equity, structured capital and private credit platforms, all of which are focused on the energy industry. Scott brings over 35 years of energy and energy infrastructure investment experience, leadership, and business-building expertise to Quantum. Most recently, he helped build Blackstone’s credit unit into one of the largest credit businesses in the world, serving both as global head of Blackstone credit and subsequently chairman of Blackstone’s combined credit and insurance unit. While at Blackstone Credit, he started the firm’s energy debt business in 2005 and ran that business until being named president of Blackstone credit in 2017. Earlier in his career, he served as CFO of El Paso Corporation. He began his career in energy investment banking, ultimately serving as a managing director at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.
Grosvenor – The UK property company has appointed James Conolly to expand its credit business as director of origination. Launched in 2022, Grosvenor’s private credit strategy aims to diversify its portfolio by increasing the organisation’s residential exposure. Conolly brings over 17 years of real estate finance experience to Grosvenor, having most recently been at Topland Group. James started his career with ten years at RBS in the real estate finance team.
Montano Real Estate – René Sellner has been appointed new head of fund management. He has overall responsibility for the management of existing funds and individual mandates. He will also be responsible for managing and further expanding business activities with institutional clients. Sellner previously worked in Munich, New York and London at GLL Real Estate Partners and Macquarie Asset Management, where he served clients from Germany, Europe and Asia. Most recently, he worked as a sales specialist at Patrizia.
Enterprise Land – Paul Rutte has been appointed director to spearhead the firm’s expansion into the Netherlands. Rutte, who brings experience of property development across the Netherlands and internationally, has spent his career driving large and complex projects at major organisations, including Schiphol airport, the Dutch railways, MAB and Amvest. Rutte, was previously project director, terminal and landside, at Royal Schiphol. He is a member of the supervisory boards of MaasWonen, and prior to joining Enterprise Land was a member of the supervisory boards de Alliantie. He is also a member of the advisory board of Chemelot Research Facilities and of the real estate investment board of the University of Utrecht.
Knight Frank Investment Management – Alistair Dryer has been appointed head of business development and strategy. In this newly created role, Dryer will lead the firm’s growth initiatives and client engagement efforts, further strengthening the firm’s position in the UK and European real estate investment markets. Most recently, he served as head of Europe for LaSalle global solutions at LaSalle Investment Management, where he was instrumental in expanding the firm’s European platform and managing key client relationships. Prior to that, Dryer held senior roles at Aviva Investors, including head of UK capital GIRE and senior fund manager, overseeing significant client accounts and contributing to the firm’s growth. His career began at ING Real Estate, where he spent nine years in the research and multi-manager teams.
Atlas Technical Consultants – Jennifer Sorenson has been appointed senior vice president of its central infrastructure region. Sorenson served as vice president of AtkinsRéalis’ central sector, where she provided business development, operational and people leadership to win and deliver work for municipal clients in the central US.
JLL – Rosari Chia has been promoted to head JLL Indonesia’s office leasing advisory. As part of her expanded role, she will also join JLL Indonesia’s country leadership team, partnering with executives across all business lines and centres of excellence in Indonesia and across the region. Chia joined JLL in 2006 and has worked in a variety of leasing roles for the firm in Indonesia. In addition, she has also served on a variety of JLL domestic community networks including as serving as co-leader of Indonesia’s Women Transforming Tech and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Networks.
